  • 2 medium Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (about 1 lb or 450g), pounded to ½-inch thickness
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour (60g)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 ½ cups Panko Breadcrumbs (75g)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika (use smoked paprika for a smokier flavor)
  • ½ tsp Kosher Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • Olive Oil Spray or other cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prep: Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour and spices, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko.
  3. Bread: Coat chicken in flour, then egg, then press firmly into the panko to coat completely.
  4. Cook: Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops with oil. Air fry for 10-14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Serve: Cook until the chicken is golden brown, crispy, and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Rest for 2 minutes, then serve immediately.
