Kebab In Air Fryer

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb Ground Beef (450g) – preferably 80% lean / 20% fat
  2. 1 small Yellow Onion
  3. 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  4. 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley or Cilantro, finely chopped (15g)
  5. 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  6. 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  7. 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  8. 1/2 tsp Salt (or to taste)
  9. 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  10. 1/4 tsp Cinnamon (optional)
  11. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda (helps tenderize the meat)
  12. 1 tbsp Olive Oil (15ml) – for brushing
  13. Wooden Skewers – soaked in water for 30 minutes (or cut to fit your basket)

Instructions

  1. Mix: Combine beef, squeezed onion, garlic, herbs, and spices in a bowl. Knead for 3 minutes.
  2. Chill: Refrigerate the mix for 20 minutes to help it hold its shape.
  3. Preheat: Set air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  4. Shape: Form the meat around skewers into 4-inch logs. Brush with oil.
  5. Cook: Air fry for 8 minutes, flip, then cook for 3-4 more minutes until browned.
  6. Serve: Let rest for 2 minutes and enjoy.
