1/4 cup Soy Sauce (60ml), low-sodium (or tamari for gluten-free)
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
1 tsp Ginger, freshly grated (optional)
1 tbsp Cornstarch (8g) mixed with 2 tbsp water (cornstarch slurry)
Optional Garnish: Sesame seeds and chopped green onions
Instructions
Preheat & Prep: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes.
Season: In a bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Air Fry: Place the salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
Make Sauce: While the salmon cooks, simmer honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and ginger in a saucepan. Whisk in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
Combine & Serve: Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl, pour the sauce over top, and toss to coat. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions and serve immediately.
