Easy Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon Bites

Honey garlic salmon bite in air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet (680g), skinless, patted dry
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil (30ml)
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Black Pepper, to taste

 

  • For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup Honey (80ml) (or maple syrup)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (60ml), low-sodium (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Ginger, freshly grated (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch (8g) mixed with 2 tbsp water (cornstarch slurry)
  • Optional Garnish: Sesame seeds and chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Season: In a bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Air Fry: Place the salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Make Sauce: While the salmon cooks, simmer honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and ginger in a saucepan. Whisk in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine & Serve: Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl, pour the sauce over top, and toss to coat. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions and serve immediately.
