  • 2 Ribeye or New York Strip Steaks (about 1 lb or 450g total)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (15ml)
  • 1 tsp Salt (6g)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper (1g)
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (1.5g)
  • 1 tbsp Butter (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prep: Take steaks out of the fridge to warm up. Pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Season: Rub steaks with olive oil. Mix salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and coat the steaks evenly.
  3. Preheat: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it run for 5 minutes.
  4. Cook: Place steaks in the basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping the steaks over halfway through.
  5. Rest: Remove steaks when they reach your desired doneness. Let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes before slicing.
