1 packet (1 oz) Taco Seasoning (or 2 tbsp of a homemade blend)
2/3 cup Water (160ml)
For Assembly:
4 large Burrito-Sized Flour Tortillas (10–12 inches)
4 Corn Tostada Shells
1 cup Nacho Cheese Sauce, warmed (240g)
1 cup Sour Cream (or plain Greek yogurt) (230g)
1 cup Shredded Lettuce, iceberg or romaine (about 60g)
1/2 cup Diced Tomatoes (about 75g)
1 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend (or cheddar) (112g)
Cooking spray or a little oil for the air fryer
Instructions
Cook Beef: Brown 1 lb of ground beef, drain, and stir in taco seasoning and 2/3 cup of water. Simmer until thick.
Preheat: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Assemble & Layer: On a large tortilla, layer the beef, shredded cheese, a tostada shell with nacho cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes in the center.
Fold: Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the filling to create a sealed hexagonal packet.
Cook: Place seam-side down in the air fryer. Spray with cooking spray and cook for 3-4 minutes. Flip, spray again, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serve: Rest for one minute, then slice in half and serve immediately.
