Easy Air Fryer Steak Bites Recipe

Steak Bites Air Fryer

Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb steak (I like using sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  •
  • For the Optional Garlic Butter:
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. First, I preheat my air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a big bowl, I put the steak cubes and add the olive oil, tossing them around so they all get a nice coating.
  3. In a little bowl, I mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper together.
  4. I sprinkle this seasoning mix all over the steak and toss it again until every piece is covered.
  5. Next, I place the steak bites in the air fryer basket in just one layer. It’s important not to stack them, so they get crispy. If I have too many, I just cook them in two batches.
  6. I air fry them for 6-8 minutes. Halfway through, I give the basket a good shake. This helps them cook evenly. I cook them until they are done just how I like them (I have a guide for this below!).
  7. While the steak is cooking, I make the yummy garlic butter. In a small bowl, I just whisk the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley together.
  8. As soon as the steak bites are done, I move them to a bowl and pour the garlic butter over them, giving them one last toss.
  9. I serve them right away while they’re hot. Enjoy!
