Air Fryer Smashed Potatoe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Baby Potatoes (about 680g), Yukon Gold or red potatoes work best
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil (30ml), or other high-heat oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil: Boil baby potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and let them steam dry.
  2. Smash: Gently flatten each potato to about a 1/2-inch thickness using the bottom of a glass.
  3. Season: In a bowl, gently toss the smashed potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook in a single layer for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
