Air Fryer Mississippi Chickens

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (about 900g), pounded to an even thickness
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet Au Jus Gravy Mix (28g)
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix (28g)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (113g), sliced into pats
  • 810 Pepperoncini Peppers, plus 2 tbsp of the pepper juice from the jar
  • Cooking spray or a little oil for the air fryer basket

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  2. Prep & Season: Place chicken in the air fryer basket. Mix the au jus and ranch packets and sprinkle evenly over the chicken.
  3. Top: Top the chicken with pats of butter, pepperoncini peppers, and a drizzle of pepperoncini juice.
  4. Cook: Air fry for 18-22 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or shredding. Serve with the delicious pan sauce from the bottom of the basket.
