  • 16 ounces frozen shredded hash browns (454g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

Making these is so easy! Just follow my simple steps below.

 

Prep the Air Fryer: First, spray the inside of your air fryer basket with olive oil spray. This stops the potatoes from sticking.

Add the Potatoes: Place the frozen shredded hash browns in the air fryer basket. Try to spread them out in a single, even layer. Sprinkle the salt, garlic powder, and black pepper all over the top.

First Cook: Air fry the hash browns at 370°F (188°C) for 15 minutes. Don’t touch them during this time!

Flip and Spray: After 15 minutes, open the basket. Use a spatula to flip the hash browns. It’s okay if they break into a few big pieces. Spread them out again and give them another good spray with the olive oil.

Final Cook: Air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes. You’ll know they are done when they look golden brown and are super crispy. You can add a little more salt and pepper if you think they need it. Serve them right away while they’re hot!
