  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar (50g)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Milk (180ml) (dairy or non-dairy works)
  • 1 large Egg, room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Cooking spray or a little oil for the air fryer basket
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar (30g), for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Mix: Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (185°C). Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
  2. Prep for Swirling: Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag.
  3. Cook: Spray the air fryer basket. Swirl the batter into a lacy, circular shape in the basket. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  4. Serve: Remove from the air fryer, dust generously with powdered sugar, and serve immediately.
