  • 8 Chicken Legs (about 2 lbs or 900g), skin on
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (120g)
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch (15g)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Paprika (7g)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (3g)
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder (3g)
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt (6g)
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground (1g)
  • Olive Oil Cooking Spray or other high-heat cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prep: Pat the chicken legs dry. Set up two bowls: one with whisked eggs and another with the flour, cornstarch, and all seasonings mixed together.
  3. Coat: Dip each chicken leg first in the egg, then press firmly into the flour mixture to coat completely.
  4. Cook: Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with oil. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Serve: The chicken is done when it’s golden brown, crispy, and the internal temperature is 165°F (74°C). Let rest for a minute and serve immediately.
