The Easiest Air Fryer Cupcakes (From Scratch!)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (120g)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened to room temperature (113g)
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar (150g)
  • 1 large Egg, room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk, room temperature (120ml)

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine & Mix Batter: Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the milk to the wet ingredients, mixing on low until just combined.
  4. Fill & Cook: Fill silicone cupcake liners 2/3 full. Place them in the preheated air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool & Serve: Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack completely before frosting and serving.
