Heavenly Air Fryer Churro Bites!

Air fryer churro bite

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (125g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons (25g) Granulated Sugar, plus 1/2 cup (100g) for coating
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt, plus 1/4 teaspoon for coating
  • 1 cup (240ml) Water
  • 1/4 cup (56g) Unsalted Butter
  • 2 large Eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (for coating)
  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray or 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for air fryer)

Instructions

  1. Make Dough: Combine water, butter, 2 tbsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat, stir in flour until a ball forms.
  2. Add Eggs: Transfer dough to a bowl, cool 5 mins. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth; stir in vanilla.
  3. Pipe & Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Pipe 1-inch bites into a sprayed basket in batches.
  4. Cook: Air fry for 8-12 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden brown and firm.
  5. Coat: Immediately toss warm churro bites in a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Serve warm!
