Instructions
Preheat & Prep: Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 6-inch cake pan.
Mix: Whisk dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda/powder, salt) in one bowl. Whisk wet ingredients (egg, milk, oil, vanilla) in another.
Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until just combined. Slowly whisk in the hot water/coffee until the batter is smooth and thin.
Cook: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
