Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour (180g)
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar (100g)
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Milk (120ml)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 large Apple, peeled, cored, and finely diced (about 1 cup or 150g)
  • For the optional Glaze:
  •     * 1 cup Powdered Sugar (120g)
  •     * 2-3 tablespoons Milk (30-45ml)
  • Cooking spray or 1 tablespoon melted butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Prep Apples: Peel, core, and finely dice the apple.
  2. Mix Dry: In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet: In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Combine: Add wet to dry, mix until just combined, then fold in diced apples.
  5. Preheat: Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Place Fritters: Lightly spray basket. Drop 2-tablespoon spoonfuls of batter into the basket, spacing them out.
  7. Air Fry: Cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Glaze (Optional): Whisk powdered sugar and milk for glaze.
  9. Serve: Remove fritters, drizzle with glaze if desired, and serve warm.
